Configuring the Tests
Connecting the Equipment
The USB automated test application will prompt you to perform these
connection steps:
1 Remove the 5V supply. Connect the E2649- 66401 (E2645- 66507 if you
are using the old fixture) Device Hi- Speed Signal Quality test fixture
([INIT PORT]) into a high- speed capable port of the test bed, using a
USB cable.
2 Connect the test fixture [TEST PORT] into B receptacle of the upstream
facing port under test of the device, using the 4" USB cable. Apply
power to the device.
3 Ensure that the test switch on the test fixture is in the OFF position,
and the test LED is not lit.
4 Attach the Agilent 113xA differential probe to D+/D- of TP2 on the test
fixture, using a damped header adapter (the damped header adapter is
only needed if you are using the old test fixture).
5 If you are using the new fixture please terminate the SMA connectors
with 50 Ohm terminators.
6 Check I have completed these instructions.
