Selecting the SCPI Telnet tab

Selecting the SCPI Telnet tab opens a Telnet session between the instrument and the

client computer. The instrument TCP/IP port used for SCPI access is 5023.

NOTE To run a SCPI Telnet session, the instrument application must be running.

Step Notes

1. Click SCPI Telnet A password entry dialog appears.

By default, this password is set at the factory

as “agilent”. However, you may subsequently

change the password. (Press System, I/O

Config, Reset Web Password on the

instrument front panel to change the

password.)

When the correct password is entered, the

connection window appears.

2. Click SCPI Telnet Session The telnet command line interface appears.
