14 Medalist x6000 cabinet radiation integrity check — To
verify the Medalist x6000 cabinet integrity and
containment of X-ray emissions, perform the following:
Complete a formal on-site radiation survey. Use the
following documents: Medalist x6000 X-ray Safety
Test Procedure (N7280-90093) and Medalist x6000
X-ray Safety Test Report (N7280-90076). The latest
versions can be obtained from:

Ray Safety Test Procedure.
Agilent recommends an x-ray safety test be performed under the following conditions:
• when the Medalist x6000 is installed at a site,
• every six (6) months,
• when the Medalist x6000 has been moved,
• immediately following maintenance that involves the Safety Interlock Subsystem, the lead
shielding, the X-ray Tube, or the HVPS.
Do not operate this equipment without complying with these recommendations.
