Technical data

The command sets the enable mask in the Symbol Mode Register, which allows
true conditions in the event register to be reported in the summary bit. The query
returns the weighted value of the bits that are set in the enable register. See
“Symbol Mode Register” on page 31 for the layout of the Symbol Mode Register.
STATus:SYMBol[:EVENt]?
STATus:SYMBol[:EVENt]?
The bits in this register indicates symbol alignment loss and symbol alignment
done. This query returns whether the error detector has experienced the symbol
alignment loss or symbol alignment done. See “Symbol Mode Register” on page
31 for the layout of the Symbol Mode Register.
STATus:SYMBol:NTRansition[?]
STATus:SYMBol:NTRansition <NR1>
STATus:SYMBol:NTRansition?
This command sets the negative transition register state in the Symbol Mode
Register. When a bit in this mask is set to "1", negative (logic 1 changing to logic
0) transitions of this bit are allowed to pass. The query returns the weighted value
of the bits that are set to pass negative transitions in the transition filter. See
“Symbol Mode Register” on page 31 for the layout of the Symbol Mode Register.
STATus:SYMBol:PTRansition[?]
STATus:SYMBol:PTRansition <NR1>
STATus:SYMBol:PTRansition?
This command sets the positive transition register state in the Symbol Mode
Register. When a bit in this mask is set to "1", positive transitions (logic 0 changing
to logic 1) of this bit are allowed to pass. This is the default setting of the
instrument. The query returns the weighted value of the bits that are set to pass
positive transitions in the transition filter. See “Symbol Mode Register” on page
31 for the layout of the Symbol Mode Register.
