STATus:PROTection[:EVENt]?
The EVENt register guarantees that the application cannot miss an event which
occurs between the reading and clearing of the event register. An event bit is set
to TRUE (1) when the associated protection circuit disable an output of the
instrument. It will be cleared by a read cycle of the application software. Setting a
bit depends on the state of the positive, negative and en-able register of this
‘Protection'.

A negative transition filter allows an event to be reported when a condition changes
from true to false. The default value of this register 0x0000.

STATus:PROTection:PTRansition?
A positive transition filter allows an event to be reported when a condition changes
from false to true. The default value of this register is 0xffff. Setting both positive
and negative filters true allows an event to be reported anytime a condition
changes.
