This command defines when a trigger should be sent from the pattern generator's
Trigger/Ref Clock Out port:
ABChange: The trigger is sent when the pattern being sent changes (from pattern
A to pattern B or vice versa).
SOPattern: The pattern generator Trigger/Ref Clock Out is synchronized to the
start of a pattern.
The query returns the current state of the alternate pattern trigger mode.

information on how to work with alternate patterns.
SOURce3:TRIGger:MDENsity<n>[?]
IAgilentN490xPGPosition.Bit (not IVI-compliant)
SOURce3:TRIGger:MDENsity<n> <NR1>
SOURce3:TRIGger:MDENsity<n>?
This command selects the bit position within the PRBS at which the trigger pulse
is to be output for MDEN patterns. The number <n> must be in the range: 7, 10,
11, 13, 15, 23. The parameter <NR1> must be in the range 0 through pattern length
- 1.
The query returns the bit position within the pattern at which the trigger pulse is
to be output.

IAgilentN490xPGPosition.Bit (not IVI-compliant)
SOURce3:TRIGger:ZSUBstitut<n> <NR1>
SOURce3:TRIGger:ZSUBstitut<n>?
This command selects the bit position within the zero substituted 2^n PRBS at
which the trigger pulse is to be output for ZSUB patterns. The number <n> must
