EXT | FIX
The command controls the source of injected errors:
EXTernal (and :EADDition[:STATe] is ON)
Each pulse at the Error Add port causes an error to be added to the data stream.
FIXed (and :EADDition[:STATe] is ON)
Repetitive errors are internally added to the data stream. The rate of error
addition is controlled by the :EADDition:RATE command.
The query returns the current error addition mode.
[SOURce[1]]:PATTern:EADDition:SELect[?]
[SOURce[1]]:PATTern:EADDition:SELect DATa | AUXiliary | BOTH
[SOURce[1]]:PATTern:EADDition:SELect?
The command is used to select the channel for error insertion. It could be either
Data or Auxiliary or both.
The query returns the currently selected error insertion channel.
N O T E
Each channel is using its own error insertion logic, that is triggered individually
when inserting an error. As an result of this, the errors inserted on Data Out and
Aux Data Out are normally not affecting the same bits on both channels.
