Jitter Tolerance Test Specications
The built-in jitter sources are designed to cover DisplayPort
PI Express SATA SB3 ibre hannel PI B-DIMM EI 6
G/11 G 10 GbE and XP/XI SP jitter tolerance test needs.
Periodic jitter ption J10
This injects sinusoidal rectangular
or triangular jitter over a wide

Auxillary cloc output AX  T
The built-in SS cloc modulation source is available only in
combination with ption J10. It either generates a freuency
modulated cloc signal SS or a phase modulated cloc signal
residual SS as used in some computer or storage standards
such as PIe SB and SATA to spread EMI. If residual SS is
enabled sinusoidal jitter is not available however all other
jitter sources can be used. If SS is enabled sinusoidal jitter is
available in a limited range however all other jitter sources can
be used without restrictions. SS  of max  SJ  of max
 100.

0 to -0.5% (5,000 ppm),
2% typical accuracy
SSC frequency deviation:

0 to 1.0% pp (10,000 ppm),
