Entering a Detector Constant 
The Detector Constant's value may be changed by keying in the desired 
value. The Acceptable Limits for the Detector Constant are shown on the 
display. (Keep in mind that absolute measurement accuracy depends on 
the accuracy of the Detector Constant.) 
Estimating the Detector Constant 
An estimate of the Detector Constant can be made directly from the 
detector's power level if the detector's sensitivity is known. A power meter 
or a spectrum analyzer can be used to measure the power level. The 
following graph can be used to determine the Detector Constant for an 
HP 33330C Low Barrier Schottkey Diode Detector.
