To adjust the low-frequency compensation
In this procedure you adjust the low-frequency compensation adjustment for
each channel.

Turn off the oscilloscope and disconnect the power cord.

Remove the cover from the oscilloscope.

Reconnect the power cord and turn on the oscilloscope.

Using the
BNC
cable and 50-
Ω
feedthrough, connect the square wave
generator to channel 1.

Adjust the generator for about 30 kHz at about 3 Vp-p.

Set channel 1 to 500 mV/div.
You must perform this adjustment on the 500 mV range.

Adjust the output of the generator until you obtain about 5 to 6
divisions of vertical deflection.
