To Pack in the Commercially Available Materials
If the factory packaging materials are not available, you can use commercially
available materials for shipping.
1 Wrap the instrument in heavy paper or plastic.
2 Place the instrument in a strong shipping container.
A double-wall carton made of 350-lb. test material is adequate.
3 Protect the control panel with cardboard.
4 Add a layer of shock-absorbing material.
The shock-absorbing material should be 70 to 100 mm (3 to 4 inches) thick around all
sides of the instrument to prevent movement inside the container.
5 Seal the shipping container securely.
6 Mark the shipping container FRAGILE.
