5. Press ( ) or to begin the request process. The message

“Dialing <Remote Site Name>, <Remote Site Tele-

phone Number>” appears on the screen, followed by another message

“Query in progress...”.

6. When communication is established between the cardiograph and the

remote site, the following screen appears requesting your password:

word.

7. After you enter a valid password, you will be asked for the institution

number. The institution number is the first three digits of the cardio-

graph’s location code. Enter the institution number in the space provided,

then press ( ) or .
