Troubleshooting the
Agilent V24/V26 Series
 Use a voltmeter and measure each battery. For battery 1, the battery voltage can be
sensed between pin 8 and ground. For battery 2, the voltage can be sensed between pin 6
and ground. The voltage should be 14.7 Vdc. The residual capacity of the batteries can be
estimated by measuring the open circuit voltage of the batteries and comparing it to the
following figure.
If the batteries discharge much more quickly than expected by the graph, the batteries
have exceeded their useful life and should be replaced.
