Final Setup and Response Calibration
23. Verify that all of the power and attenuator settings are correct, and set the following
measurement. Press [Menu/Dialog] then tab to Trace. In the pull down menu select
Measure then S21.
24. Connect the test port cables of the analyzer to form a thru configuration.
25. Press [Menu/Dialog] then tab to Calibration. In the pull down menu select Calibration
Wizard then Unguided Calibration Use Mechanical Standards. Select THRU
Response. Follow analyzers window prompts to finish calibration.
26. Make the connection as shown in Figure 9. Turn on the DUT and measure the S21 gain
of the amplifier under test to confirm the proper operation of the measurement test
setup.

27. Continue with any other high power measurements.
