set of numbers to 0; and do not set the 4

set of numbers
greater than 254.
7. Press the knob to set the address.
8. Write down the address you entered:
DUT IP ADDRESS _____________________________________________
Note that the entered DUT IP address must be on the same subnet as the Test Set.
9. Press the Close Menu (F6) key.
PC Setup
Turn on the PC. If already on, close any running applications. If necessary, enter your
Windows password to begin using the PC. Use the instructions appropriate for your
operating system (Windows 98 or Windows 2000) below.
Windows 98
This procedure assumes you are using a standalone PC (not connected to a network) using
the Microsoft Windows 98 operating system. Other PC configurations may use slightly
different setups.
1. Open the Control Panel
2. Choose the Internet Options icon
a. Select the Connections tab
b. Select the LAN Settings box
c. In the Automatic configuration section, both Automatically detect settings
and Use automatic configuration script must NOT be checked.
d. In the Proxy server section, Use a proxy server must NOT be checked.
Select OK, then OK again to exit the Internet Options menu
3. Choose the Network icon
a. Select the Configuration tab
