3 Test Set Operating System
FPGA update warning window (may be displayed, if any FPGA updating occurs):
CAUTION During FPGA programming, DO NOT power off the E6640A
for ANY reason! Interrupting the FPGA update process can
place the instrument in an unusable state, requiring it to be
returned to Agilent for repair.
3 When the software updater window shows
“The software upgrade was successful”,
you will be prompted to reboot.
Reboot the E6640A by clicking Finish in
the window. Windows will display a
“System Shutdown” warning window;
this is normal.
