Installation for 2001 (and Later) Ford Windstar
Cable Routing
1 Locate the emergency brake cable grommet, at the point
where the cable passes through the firewall.
2 Cut a slot in the grommet to allow the Speed Pulse cable to
pass through it.
3 Feed the cable through the grommet into the engine
compartment.
Engine Compartment Connections
1 Unwrap the split loom of the wire harness to reveal the
wires.
2 Connect the red terminal of the speed pulse cable to the Dark
Blue w/ Yellow wire. This is the positive connection.
3 Connect the black terminal of the speed pulse cable to the
Black w/ White wire. This is the negative connection.
NOTE
A Pulse Frequency Divider must be used with the 2001 (and later) Ford
Windstar. This device is part # AA-1600-05-01TO12, and is available from:
