CAI messaging
The E6474A system extracts and decodes over-head messaging from the handset. The
cdma2000 messages are contained in the message groups listed below.
Message groups
 Access
 Paging
 Sync
- Forward traffic
- Reverse traffic
When the message display is paused, the user can double-click on any message group to
show the next level of detail. Individual protocol messages can be selected to be decoded
in a separate message window.
The Properties dialog box allows you to control which common air interface (CAI)
messages are displayed in the CDMA CAI Messages view. This capability enables the
filtering of message groups for specific messages you want displayed. You can also
change the font, size and color of the message text.
To open it, click the Properties… button in the CDMA CAI Messages view. This dialog box
also enables pop-up views or "message boxes" that display all of the messages of one
type.
