Screen Reference
MANUAL TEST (Asynchronous Mode)
o Knob MKR/Cursor: Toggles the function of the CURSOR CONTROL knob
between Cursor
and MKR for marker control.
o Marker Coars/Fine: Toggles the marker control between Coars
for coarse
and Fine
to move the marker with 10 dots (coarse) or 1 dot (fine) resolution.
The marker readouts for the amplitude and timeslot (in bits) are available at
any point of the measured trace.
o More (2 of 3): Displays softkey menu 3.
o Return: Returns to the initial Measuring screen.
Softkey Menu 3
o Print: Allows you to print a hardcopy of a graphic image from the screen.
o More (3 of 3): Returns to softkey menu 1.
o Return: Returns to the initial Measuring screen as shown in Figure 3-35.
NOTE If the measurement is not triggered, consult the following items:
* The Power Control Level (PWR CNTL) is properly set.
* The Midamble is properly set. If you don’t know which Training Sequence Code
(TSC) is used, set Midamble to None to use the amplitude trigger mode.
