USB LED indicator

The LED (GREEN) flashes to indicate that there is USB instrument activity.

RS-232 LED indicator

The LED (GREEN) flashes to indicate that there is RS-232 instrument activity.

FAULT LED indicator

The LED (RED) turns on at power-on while the E5810B is running a self-test.

If the LED turns on for more than 10 seconds and there is no IP address displayed on the front panel

display, the E5810B may be experiencing hardware failure.

Preset button

Press this button for less than10 seconds to temporarily reset the password to the default

password (E5810).

Press this button for more than 10 seconds to return the E5810B to the factory default settings.

Power ON/OFF switch

Press this switch to turn on or off the E5810B.
