Checking the E5810B parameters
If the front panel display and LED indicators are in no error
conditions, check the E5810B configuration parameters.
Check the current E5810B parameters
If the E5810B is connected to an Enterprise network, you
can check the E5810B current settings displayed on the
Configuring your E5810B LAN/GPIB/USB Gateway page
against the Enterprise Network Information provided by your
system administrator. If the settings do not match,
reconfigure the E5810B from the Configuring your E5810B
LAN/GPIB/USB Gateway page.
Reset the E5810B
You can use the Preset button on the E5810B front panel to
reset the E5810B to its default settings. There are two
modes of operation.
• Press the Preset button <10 seconds
The E5810B password is temporarily set to the default
value, E5810. The E5810B configuration parameters
remain the same. The password will remain until the
E5810B is rebooted.
• Press the Preset button >10 seconds
The E5810B configuration parameters are set to the
factory default settings and the E5810B is rebooted.
NOTE
If the E5810B is connected to an Enterprise network, ensure that you
contact your system administrator before making any configuration
changes to the E5810B. If E5810B configuration checks are required, refer
to Chapter 3, “Viewing and Modifying the E5810B Configuration” for
more information.
NOTE
Terminate all applications with the E5810B before performing this.
