any reverse voltage and current flow to the DUT. Note that
this recommendation is only suitable for single output
applications.

Note the following considerations for the diode(s) selection:
• The DUT’s input voltage should consider the voltage drop
across the diode. The typical threshold voltage of a silicon
diode is 0.6 V to 0.7 V.
• The series diode selected must have a current
specification of 10% to 20% derating margin.
• Select the zener diode’s voltage according to the DUT’s
input voltage rating and at least 1 watt power rating or
higher.
