Using IO Configuration Utilities

Using the LAN Server

If you configured the LAN server on this system using IO Config, you must

now start the LAN server process on this system.

Starting the LAN Server

n To start the LAN server, you can either restart (reboot) this system

now or manually start the LAN server process on this system.

n To manually start the LAN server process on the system after the

LAN server has been configured using IO Config, click the LAN

Server icon in the Agilent IO Libraries program group.

n The LAN server is now running. You can now minimize the LAN

Server window so that the LAN Server process is listed on the

Windows taskbar.

Stopping the LAN Server

To stop the LAN server process from running on the system:

1 Open the LAN Server window on the screen and move the cursor

into the LAN Server window.

2Press

Ctrl+C or click the Close box to close the window. The LAN

server process is stopped.
