CAUTION
MAXIMUM INPUTS. The maximum voltage that can be applied to
any terminal is 125 V dc (250 Vac rms). The maximum current per
channel or common is 5 A DC or ac rms. The maximum power that
can be applied to any channel or common is 150 W or 1250 VA.
STATIC ELECTRICITY. Static electricity is a major cause of
component failure. To prevent damage to the electrical components
in the Switch Module, observe anti-static techniques whenever
working on the device.
Inspection/Shipping
This section contains initial (incoming) inspection and shipping guidelines
for the switch module.
Initial Inspection Use the steps in Figure 1-2 as guidelines to perform initial inspection of one
of the modules. Verification Tests are optional.
WARNING
To avoid possible hazardous electrical shock, do not perform
electrical tests if there are signs of shipping damage to the
shipping container or to the instrument.
