SYSTem
The SYSTem subsystem returns the numbers and messages in the error
queue of a switchbox, and returns the switchbox module descriptions.
Subsystem Syntax SYSTem
:CDEScription? <number>
:CPON <number> | ALL
:CTYPe? <number>
:ERRor?
SYSTem:CDEScription?
SYSTem:CDEScription? <number> returns the module description.
Parameters
Comments Multiplexer Module Description: The SYSTem:CDEScription? command
returns the following E1460A descriptions, depending on mode currently
configured:
One-Wire Mode: "128 Channel S.E. Relay Mux"
Two-Wire Mode: "Dual 32 Channel 2-Wire Relay Mux"
Two-Wire 64 Mode: "64 Channel 2-Wire Relay Mux"
Three-Wire Mode: "32 Channel 3-Wire Relay Mux"
Four-Wire Mode: "32 Channel 4-Wire Relay Mux"
Example Reading the Description of a Card #1 Module
This example selects the one-wire mode, then queries the description.
Because one-wire mode is selected, the query command returns
"WIRE1".
