General Information
Introduction This Agilent E1326B Service Manual contains information required to
test, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair the Agilent E1326B B-Size VXI 5
1/2-Digit Multimeter (multimeter). See the Agilent E1326B/E1411B
User’s Manual for additional information on the Agilent E1326B
multimeter. Figure 1-1 shows the Agilent E1326B multimeter and
accessories supplied.
Safety
Considerations
This product is a Safety Class I instrument that is provided with a
protective earth terminal when installed in the mainframe. The
mainframe, multimeter, and all related documentation should be
reviewed for familiarization with safety markings and instructions before
operation or service.

of safety information. Safety information for preventive maintenance,
testing, adjusting, and service follows and is also found throughout this
manual.
