This section describes the rear view of the Agilent B2900 series.
Channel 2 source/measure terminals
Only on 2-channel models. Terminals for SMU channel 2. High Force, Low
Force, High Sense, Low Sense, Guard, and chassis ground. For details, see
“Connecting a DUT” on page 3-10
CAUTION Never connect the Guard terminal to any output, including circuit common, chassis
ground, or any other guard terminal. Doing so will damage the B2900.
CAUTION Do not apply current to the chassis ground terminal. Doing so will damage the
B2900.
GPIB interface connector
Use an Agilent 82357A/B USB/GPIB interface or Agilent 10833A/B/C/D GPIB
cable to connect to an external computer or equipment.
Cooling fan
AC input connector
AC power cord is connected to this receptacle.
LAN interface connector
Connects to 10/100 Base-T interface. Left LED indicates activity. Right LED
indicates link integrity.
