About This Guide
This guide describes how to set up the Agilent 1200 Series LC system to trigger data
acquisition from a Thermo Scientific mass spectrometer and how to connect the Agilent 1200
Series LC system to the data system computer through an Ethernet connection.

To access this and other Thermo Scientific manuals on your Xcalibur data system computer,
do the following:
• For liquid chromatography instruments with device drivers provided on the LC Devices
software CD, choose Start > All Programs > Thermo Instruments > Manuals >
LC Devices > [Product Family]. Then click the PDF that you want to view.
• For the Xcalibur 2.1 manual set, choose Start > All Programs > Thermo Xcalibur >
Manuals > Xcalibur.
