Typical Network Topologies
LANs using TCP/IP can be divided into two categories: Site LANs and
Private LANs.
Site LAN Topology A Site LAN can be a workgroup LAN, Intranet, or enterprise (corporate)
LAN. Typically, a site LAN includes several PCs, routers, and servers.
The LAN network is usually administered and controlled by a
