Agilent 81600B Tunable Laser Source Family, Fourth Edition 95
1 Set up the equipment as shown in Figure 26 on page 92.
2 Move to the TLS channel of the Agilent 8164A/B Lightwave
Measurement System and set the [Menu] parameters to:
3 Set the inital wavelength and power of the TLS to:
4 For the 81600B #200, #160, #150, #140 and #130, connect the fiber to
the High Power output, Output 2.
Set <Optical Output> to <High Power (2)>.
5 Make sure the optical output is switched off.
6 At the 81624A/B:
a Zero the 81624A/B. Select <Menu> then <Zero>,
b Automatic ranging is set by default
c Set the Averaging Time to 500 ms,
