Changing Switch Position
To set single port A switches
The 1 × N switch has a single Port A channel and multiple Port B channels.

To select a Port B channel, press:
SWITCH PORT
The Port B channels are shown in inverse video and the prompt,
Port B
active
, appears at the bottom of the display.

Use the arrow keys to change the Port B channel.
You can also use the numeric keys to enter the desired Port B channel. For
example:

followed by
ENTER
.
The new connection is displayed on the front-panel display.
To set dual port A switches
The 2 × N switch has two Port A channels and multiple Port B channels.

To select the Port A channel, press:
SWITCH PORT
The Port A channels are shown in inverse video and the prompt,

active
, appears at the bottom of the display.

To select a Port B channel, again press:
SWITCH PORT
The Port B channels are shown in inverse video and the prompt,
Port B
active
, appears at the bottom of the display.
