HP-IB Addresses
‘Ihble 5-4 lists the default assigned addresses and test equipment. For
dual bus systems the select code for the test equipment is 7 and the
select code for the instrument under test is 8. (The address for the HP
8568A/B under test is 818.)
In single bus systems, the select code for the test equipment is 7, and
the select code for the instrument under test is 7.
