Amplitude Fidelity Test
A signal source of known amplitude is connected to the spectrum
analyzer and the analyzer is adjusted for a reference. The signal
source is stepped down from -10 dB to -30 dB in 10 dB steps and the
amplitude of the displayed signal measured using the marker function.
This measured value is used to calculate the percent error from the
reference level established.
