Chapter 2: Preparing for Use
To configure a multi-card module
1 Plan the configuration. Multicard modules can only be connected as shown
in the illustration. Expander cards are evenly distributed above and below
the master card. Select the card that will be the master card, and set the
remaining cards aside.
2 Obtain two 2x40 cables from the accessory pouch for every expander card
being configured.
One Expander: Two 2x40 cables
Two Expanders: Four 2x40 cables
Three Expanders: Six 2x40 cables
Four Expanders: Eight 2x40 cables.
