measurement on the Extension.

The two calibration marks are located at 10% and 60% of wave channel height. The lower
calibration mark is labeled 0 mmHg (0.0 kPa) on all scales. The upper one is adjustable from
20 mmHg (2kPa) to 100 mmHg (13 kPa) in steps of 10 mmHg (1kPa).

In the measurement mode, the Extension continuously measures CO
2
concentration,
calculates medical parameters and exchanges information with the Server via FELP.

2&RUUHFWLRQThis can be turned on or off. If N
2
O correction is off, only oxygen cor-
rection to CO
2
is made. In this case, it is assumed that the gas mixture consists mainly of O
2
and N
2
(respiratory intensive care unit conditions).
If N
2
O correction is on, oxygen and N
2
O correction to the CO
2
value is made. In this case,
it is assumed that the gas mixture consists mainly of O
2
and N
2
O (operating room condi-
tions).
N
2
O correction is required only on M3015A Measurement Server Extensions with CO

Data
Aquisition hardware revision A.01.09 or lower.
+XPLGLW\&RUUHFWLRQThis correction is selectable between Body Temperature Pressure
Saturated (BTPS) and Standard Pressure Temperature Dry (STPD). The Extension meas-
ures STPD and uses this correction formula:
BTPS = 0.94 x STPD
