4-20 Testing the Instrument
— Base impedance line 1500 Ohm.
— Delta impedance 0.5 Ohm
— Respiration rate 40 rpm.
6WHS The value should be 40 rpm +/- 2 rpm.

This test checks the performance of the invasive pressure parameter. The Invasive Pressure
performance test is required once every two years.
7RROVUHTXLUHG Patient Simulator.
6WHS Connect the Patient Simulator to the Pressure connector on the Measurement Server
or the Measurement Server Extension.
6WHS Set Patient Simulator to 0 pressure.
6WHS Make a zero calibration.
6WHS Configure the Patient Simulator as follows:
— P(static) = 200 mmHg.
6WHS Wait for the display.
6WHS The value should be 200 mmHg ± 5 mmHg. If the value is outside these tolerances,
calibrate the Measurement Server or Measurement Server Extension.

If the Measurement Server was calibrated with a dedicated reusable catheter, check the
calibration together with this catheter.
