8  PA2 Key (User-defined)
The contents of the PA2 Key PFS are sent to the printer when a ¢&8
[Trigger 1-ampersand-eight] that the user has embedded in the data stream
is encountered by the ULTRA. If Option #9  PA Key Usage is set to (B)
PFS, the PA2 Key PFS will be sent to the printer each time the PA2 Key on
the front panel is pressed. The user may program this PFS for any purpose.
9  DisplayWrite 370 Bolding On or User-defined
If a [character-backspace-same character] sequence is detected in the data
stream, this PFS is sent to the printer. Note: This is used only when Option
#15  Bold Print Emulation is set to (A) 3287 emulation or
(B)DisplayWrite 370 emulation. The Bolding On PFS will also be sent to
the printer when a ¢&9 [Trigger 1-ampersand-nine] that the user has
embedded in the data stream is encountered by the ULTRA. If the user is
certain that the host never turns on bolding, or if Option #15 has been set to
(C) None, the user may program this PFS for any purpose.
A  DisplayWrite 370 Bolding Off or User-defined
If bolding was on previously and a [character-non-backspace] sequence is
detected in the data stream, this PFS is sent to the printer. Note: This is used
only when Option #15  Bold Print Emulation is set to (A) 3287 emulation
or (B) DisplayWrite 370 emulation. The Bolding Off PFS will also be sent
to the printer when a ¢&A [Trigger 1-ampersand-A] that the user has
embedded in the data stream is encountered by the ULTRA. If the user is
certain that the host never turns off bolding, or if Option #15 has been set to
(C) None, the user may program this PFS for any purpose.
B  Coax Host PFS
The contents of the Coax Host PFS are sent to the printer each time the
ULTRA begins a coax host print job after printing an alternate host print
job. The Coax Host PFS is also sent to the printer when a ¢&B [Trigger 1-
ampersand-B] that the user has embedded in the data stream is encountered
by the ULTRA.
Note: If the user has selected Option #10-C  Switchable ASCII/EBCDIC
Output, this PFS must be programmed with the =MCK= command to
change to XES mode.
