Beginning the measurement

From the Measurement menu, choose New Measurement. See Figure 53.

When the Do you want to perform a New Calibration and Measurement?

prompt appears, click Yes.

When the Connect Diagram dialog box appears, click on the hardware

drop-down arrow and select your hardware configuration from the list. See

Figure 55 on page 88.

CAUTION

To prevent damage to the test set’s hardware components, do not apply the input

signal to the signal input connector until the input attenuator has been correctly

set for the desired configuration, as shown in Ta b le 9 on page 89. Apply the input

signals when the connection diagram appears, as in step 3 below.
