Using Figure 36 as a guide, navigate to the Sources tab.

Enter the carrier (center) frequency of your DUT (5 MHz to 1.6 GHz).
Enter the same frequency for the detector input frequency.

Enter the VCO (Nominal) Tuning Constant (see Table 5 on page 68).

Enter the Tune Range of VCO (see Table 5).

Enter the Center Voltage of VCO (see Table 5).
e
Enter the Input Resistance of VCO (see Table 5).
NOTE
Note that the source parameters entered for step 2 in Ta bl e 7 on page 79 may not be
appropriate for the reference source you are using. To change these values, refer to Ta b l e 5
on page 68, then continue with step 4 below. Otherwise, go to “Beginning the
measurement" on page 71.
