2 Open the E5505A phase noise
software.

3 Click FFT Analyzer Check I/O button
in Server Hardware Connections to
verify the PC digitizer’s connectivity.

A green check-mark appears on the button to
confirm connectivity. If a red circle with a slash
appears, check hardware connections and try
again.
4 Configure the function generator
using the appropriate keys on the
instrument.
•
Frequency: 100 kHz
•
Amplitude: 100 mV peak to peak
•
