Using Figure 84 as a guide, navigate to the Sources tab.

Enter the carrier (center) frequency of your DUT(5 MHz to
1.6 GHz). Enter the same frequency for the detector input frequency.

Enter the VCO (Nominal) Tuning Constant (see Table 17 on page 147).

Enter the Tune Range of VCO (see Table 17).

Enter the Center Voltage of VCO (see Table 17).

Enter the Input Resistance of VCO (see Table 17).

Note that the source parameters entered for step 2 in Ta bl e 1 6 on page 143 may not be
appropriate for the reference source you are using. To change these values, refer to
Tab le 1 7 on page 147, then continue with step 5 below. Otherwise, go to “Beginning the
measurement" on page 151.
