6 Replacing 6000L Assemblies
To remove the fan
1 Perform the previous procedures:
• “To remove the bottom cover” on page 145
• “To remove the system board” on page 148
• “To remove the power supply” on page 150
Though the fan can be removed without performing all
of the above, it is difficult to reinstall it.
2 Slide the fan and fan mount slightly up and out of the
chassis.
3 Remove the fan from the flexible fan mount.
