To use Autostore
With Autostore or infinite persistence, the scope updates the display with
new acquisitions, but does not erase the results of previous acquisitions.
Rather than being erased by subsequent acquisitions, each pixel memory
location turned on by a previous acquisition is turned into a pixel in
half-bright. Thus, the results of all previous acquisitions are displayed in
half-bright, with the latest acquisition in full-bright.
Autostore is useful in a number of applications, including these:
Display the worst-case extremes of varying waveforms.
Capture and store waveforms.
Measure noise and jitter.
Capture events that occur infrequently.
The “Store” indicator is displayed at the right end of the status line when
Autostore is selected.
