Specifications
At 5
µ
s/div, we are sampling at 200 MSa/s (scope), and 400 MSa/s (digital).
When no delay value is set, and the time reference is set to Center, the
trigger point is displayed at the center of the screen.
Consider a measurement where we want to view a signal from 30
µ
s before
the trigger point, and 30
µ
s after the trigger point. In this measurement, we
have the time reference set to Center, the sweep speed set to 5
µ
s/div, and
the positive delay set to 30
µ
s. Setting a positive delay lets us look at the part
of the signal that is to the right of the trigger point. When a single acquisition
is performed, the result resembles:
Single Acquisition, Time Reference Center, Positive Delay
The trigger event
is off the screen to
the left. Center
screen shows the
part of the signal
to the right of the
trigger.
