3 Set up a low-jitter, low-noise, external frequency source, such as
the Stanford Research CG635, for a 10 MHz square wave at 1
Vpeak, 0 volts offset, 50% duty cycle.
NOTE If your source has an output enable feature, turn it ON.
4 Connect the frequency source (Q or not Q
output) to Channel 1 on
the counter front panel. See Figure 2-5.
