2. Turn the knob to select the system mode, press Enter;
3. The instrument will be reset if the system mode has been switched; or
it will display “SYSTEM MODE”. In later case, press Menu again to
exit this operation.
To Query the
Firmware Revision
To query the Agilent 3499A/B/C firmware revision:
1. Press Menu, the CONFIG annunciator lights up. Turn the knob to
select “REVISION INFO”, then press Enter;
2. The system firmware revision number will be displayed as one of the
four formats in the following. Please note that for Firmware REV
3.0/4.0, the displayed Firmware Revision information also indicates
the Controller board version: for “REV 3.0 1.0”, ‘1.0’ indicates the
Controller board is 1.0; for “REV 4.0 2.0”, ‘2.0’ indicates the
Controller board is 2.0. Firmware REV 1.0/2.0 always runs under
Controller board 1.0.
3. Press Enter to return to “REVISION INFO”, press Menu again to
exit this operation, the CONFIG annunciator turns off accordingly.
