The following operations can be done with the Menu key in SCPI mode:
To pair two cards;
To configure the external trigger;
To configure the power-on state;
To configure the remote interface;
To perform a self-test;
To select a system mode;
To query the firmware revision;
To query the serial number.
Note In 3488A mode, the Agilent 3499A/B/C does not support configuring
RS-232 interface and the instrument power-on state.

independent firmwares: SCPI mode Firmware REV 3.0 and 3488A mode Firmware REV 3.0.
