Reset Condition
On reset, the parity setting is unaffected.
Query
SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial[:RECeive]:PARity[:TYPE]?
The query returns the current setting of the receive/transmit parity type
(EVEN, ODD, ZERO, ONE or NONE).
Query Example
SYST:COMM:SER:REC:PAR ODD This command sets the transmitter
to include an odd parity bit in the
transmitted data and the receiver
to check for odd parity in the
received data.
SYST:COMM:SER:REC:PAR? This command queries what type
of parity has been set on the
received/transmitted data.
