System Setup
The test set is designed to be placed underneath the network analyzer in a rack system
and connected as shown in Figure 8. Use the two SMA 50 Ω jumper cables (08720-20245)
included in the shipment. See Table 1 on page 3.

After all the proper connections have been made, turn on the test set using the front panel
line switch. The front panel line switch disconnects the mains circuits from the mains
supply after the EMC filters and before other parts of the instrument.
NOTE Allow the test set warm up for at least 2 hours for accurate, repeatable
measurements. For the most stable and accurate measurements, leave the
test set turned on at all times.
