Front Panel Disassembly Instructions

IMPORTANT NOTE:
• The front panel assembly should only be
repaired in a clean and dust-free
environment.
• Failure to do so may introduce
contamination between the EMI shielded
window and the display.
• Also note that it may not be necessary to
completely disassemble the front panel in
order to repair or replace some of its parts.
As such, this procedure should be tailored to
suit the specific repair requirements.
Step 1:
• Carefully lift and remove the calibrator plug
[This step does not apply to units with
rear-panel connectors]
• This step is only applicable for calibrator
assembly with the calibrator plug.
• For more information on the improved
calibrator assembly, refer to “Improved
calibrator assembly” on page 78.
